Kathmandu Valley trekking starts from Sundarijal and ends from Dhulikhel to Kathmandu by vehicle. One can observe the scene of beautiful mid-hills and mountains as well. Trekkers can get a chance to view the beautiful mountains such as Mt.Langtang, Mt.Ganesh Himal, and Mt.Manaslu ranges. This route goes through Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park, Chisopani, and Nagarkot Eco-trail. Sunrise from Chisopani, Nagarkot, and Dhulikhel is also the best part of this trek as trekkers can observe the stunning mountain views.

As it is named Kathmandu Valley Trek, it provides a beautiful snapshot view of the valley i.e. the Capital city of Nepal. This trek provides you an opportunity to observe beautiful scenes of waterfalls, forests and local Tamang villages. Also one can observe the field terraces where local people grow corn, millet, and paddy. Kathmandu Valley Trek Itinerary

Day 1Kathmandu to Chisopani.

Kathmandu to Sundarijal by car or bus depend on group size drive about 45 minutes and start trek to Chisopani. from Sundarijal ascend to Chisopani about 4,5 hrs walk.( mostly walk in the forest)

Day 2Chisopani to Nagarkot.

Chisopani to Nagarkot is 8, 9 hrs walk. It is mostly easy walk through forest and village but end of the day 45 minutes need to ascent. Nagarkot is excellent view point of Kathmandu valley trek. when you arrive here need to wake up early morning for beautiful pictures of Annapurna range to Everest range views.

Day 3Nagarkot to Dhulikhel.

Nagarkot to Dhulikhel is easy and short day walk. there are opetions walk up to Dhulikhel or walk to Nala and take local but to Dhulikhel.

Day 4Dhulikhel to Namobuddha Kathmandu.

Dhulikhel to Namobuddha 2,3 hrs walk in Local village walking trail and road also but it is really beautiful walking to Namobuddha and visit Monastry etc. After visit Namobuddha monastry walk down 3o minutes and take local transport to Kathmandu.
