Climbing to the base camp through the Jiri village route is a relatively easier trail and one should face fewer challenges on this trail than that on the regular trail. We can call this trail a legendary trail as the first two climbers, Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa used this route to reach to the summit of the world’s highest mountain.
Legends call this route the original route to Everest as explorers and mountaineers used this route to reach the base camp of Everest. This journey rewards the visitors with a magnificent view of Himalayan ranges including some of the highest mountains of the world such as Everest (The highest mountain of the world), Annapurna, Kanchenjunga, Lhotse, Cho-Oyu, Amadablam, Pumori and other many beautiful mountain ranges.
