Yala Peak Climbing (5500m) – 15 days

Yala Peak, located in Langtang region is a perfect climbing peak which gives mountaineers an opportunity to gain experience on technical climbing in the higher mountain ranges. This is an easy trekking destination and one with good physical stamina can easily reach to the summit of this beautiful mountain. Once you reach the summit of Yala Peak, you can the spectacular and very close view of the highest mountain of Tibet, Shishapangma (8013m). This trek is especially designed for those people who have the desire to see the natural beauty of Himalayan region and experience the cultures and lifestyle of the people living at mountains.

The summit of Yala peak offers the visitors with an opportunity to do the sightseeing of some of the highest mountain ranges of the world such as Everest, Annapurna, Thamaserku and other many beautiful mountain ranges of Everest region. One can get an opportunity to explore the unique lifestyle and culture of people who are living in this region since many years. Yala peak lies close to the Nepal Tibet’s border and offers the spectacular views of Himalayan ranges with the opportunity to explore unique cultures and traditions of Himalayan people.

The journey to the summit of Yala peak starts with the sightseeing of some of the famous places of Kathmandu valley. We will then take a scenic drive to Dhunche and then we will trek through the ancient villages of Sherpa and Magar people. Some of the major highlights of this trail are the beautiful Gompa monasteries and beautiful colorful flags. We will start climbing Yala Peak from Kanjing Gompa and the climbing of last 400m will be a bit difficult and exciting as well. We will be climbing through thin ice and we will use the ropes and climbing equipment. On the same day we will descend down to the Base camp and reach Kanjing Gompa from where we will be back to Kathmandu
