Annapurna Base Camp Trek Itinerary

Day 1Arrival At Kathmandu

Upon arriving at the Tribhuwan International Airport, our official representative will greet and guide you to your Hotel. They will assist you with the check-in procedures. You can take your time to relax and freshen up. 

If you still have some time, you can explore the city. You will spend a relaxing night here at the Hotel and prepare yourself for the upcoming adventures. 

Day 2Exploring Kathmandu

We will dedicate the second day of the trip to explore the delightful Kathmandu city. Waking up early and devouring a delicious breakfast, we will explore the city. The trip to Kathmandu city involves several world heritage sites, renowned temples, durbar squares, and ancient palaces. You will witness the city’s beautiful architecture, exploring the history behind each monument. 

After a productive day filled with exploration, we will conclude the day with a pre-departure meetup and a goodnight’s sleep at the same Hotel. 

Day 3Kathmandu to Pokhara Via Flight

An enthralling adventure awaits upon rising on the third day of the trip. We will take a scenic flight to Pokhara. You will witness beautiful landscapes and alluring mountain views as you fly to Pokhara from Kathmandu. 

Then we will officially begin our trek from Pokhara. We will trek from Pokhara to Ulleri. This is a good start to our journey as it is a comparatively easier trek. We will spend the night at Ulleri. 

Day 4Ulleri to Ghorepani Deurali

After breakfast at Ulleri, we embark on the journey towards Ghorepani. The trail is filled with lush rhododendron forests. The chirping birds give us the motivation to move forward. You can witness the flabbergasting mountain views of Machhapuchhre, Annapurna, and Hiunchuli. Then we ascend further to reach the beautiful Ghorepani Deurali. We will spend the night here at Ghorepani. 

Day 5 Ghorepani Deurali and Early Morning Hike To Poonhill and trek to tadapani

We will continue the trek from Ghorepani early in the morning towards Poonhill. The Poonhill is renowned for its glorious sunrise and sunset views. You will also witness the enchanting mountain views of Dhaulagiri, Tukuche, Nilgiri, Varaha Sikhar, Annapurna and many more. Most parts of the trail are covered with lush Rhododendron forest. The Rhododendron blooms add to the already delightful scenery during the spring season.

After that, you will ascend further to reach Tadapani eventually. Then you will check into the lodge in Tadapani. You will spend the night here at Tadapani. 

Day 6Tadapani to Chhomrong village

After enjoying our breakfast at the lodge, we will head towards Chhomrong Village. From Tadapani, the trail filled with oaks, Rhododendrons, and other dense forest descends towards Khimrung Khola. 

From here, we ascend towards the Chomrong Village. This is the gateway to the Annapurna Base Camp. 

Day 7Chhomrong Village To Himalaya

After enjoying our breakfast at the lodge, we descend through a picturesque stone stairway for about an hour and a half. Then we cross the Chhormrong Khola via a high suspension bridge. Then we climb out the side valley. 

Passing the beautiful Oak, Rhododendron and Bamboo forests, we climb further on a rocky path and eventually reach Sinuwa. From here, we descend through a steep, long, stone stairway and reach Bamboo. From here, we trek gently upwards towards Dovan and then the Himalayas.

Day 8Himalaya to MBC

The adventure continues as we trek to the Machhapuchhre Base Camp for the Himalayas at 3700 meters. Taking in the stunning mountain vistas and the serene landscapes, you eventually reach Machhapuchhre Base Camp. You will spend the night here at MBC.

Day 9MBC to ABC

As you start your trek from MBC to ABC, an exciting day lies ahead. This trail is filled with rocky terrains, alpine meadows, and dense forests, serving a diverse range of natural beauty. You can take your time to soak in the enthralling views, click photos and enjoy the serenity. You will spend the night at the Annapurna Purna base camp. Nights at the Annapurna Base camp offer a distinct opportunity to experience the clear mountain air.

Day 10MBC to Upper Sinuwa

You bid farewell to the stunning MBC and descend through the lush forests and terraced fields to reach Upper Sinuwa. Day 11Upper Sinuwa to Ghandruk

On the 11th day of the trek, you depart from the tranquil surroundings of the Upper Sinuwa and make your way towards Ghandruk village. The trail leads you to terraced fields with vibrant crops as you descend. You will witness distinct bird species along with their melodies. Day 12Ghandruk to Siwai and drive back to Pokhara

On day 12, we will rise early, enjoy our breakfast and head towards Siwai as we bid farewell to the captivating Ghandruk Village; the descending trail takes us through the lush forests and terraced fields. Upon reaching Siwai, you can let the rush of accomplishment pass you. This marks the end of the actual trek. From Siwai, we take a scenic drive back to Pokhara. We will spend the night here at Pokhara.

Day 13Pokhara to Kathmandu by flight

On Day 13, we will take a scenic flight back to Kathmandu. On your way back, you can enjoy the amazing scenery while reflecting on the extraordinary adventure in the lap of the Himalayas. This flight should take about 20 minutes. 

Then upon reaching Kathmandu, you can relax and enjoy the day of leisure, or you can also explore the city and buy souvenirs for your return.

Day 14Final Departure

Day 14 is the trip’s final day, the day of Departure. With a heavy heart, we bid you farewell. Our official representative will drop you at the Tribhuwan International Airport 3 hours before your flight time.
